On Friday, the Collegiate Conference of the South released its preseason Coaches Poll for Men's and Women's Tennis.

Collecting 36 points and six first-place votes to be ranked No. 1, was Covenant Men's Tennis. They were five points clear of second place Piedmont. The Scots are the defending CCS Regular Season and Tournament Champions.

The Scots return most of their team from a year ago, including No. 1 and No. 2 singles players Ben Onufrock and Austin Dreslinski. So far this spring, Covenant has defeated Transylvania and Johnson.

The Women's Tennis team was picked second with 41 points and one first place vote.
