Alice Faye Goldthreat Ashley
Alice Faye Goldthreat Ashley was born on April 9, 1963, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late William Green Goldthreat and Dora Mae Hammonds Goldthreat.
She was a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School class of 1981 and obtained her medical secretarial diploma from Edmondson Junior College class of 1983.
Alice was a devoted member of St. Luke Christian Church where she served as a faithful member on the Usher Board.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Goldthreat Armstrong and brother, William Goldthreat Jr.
Alice is survived by her husband, Mark Malone Sr., the love of her life for 30 years; daughter, Traporsha Ware (Terrence); stepdaughters, Brittany Malone and Jasmine Malone; son, Julius Ashley; stepson, Mark Malone Jr.; brother, Michael Goldthreat (Cathy), sister, Christine Goldthreat; granddaughters, Ariyanna Rose Webb and Patience Davis; step granddaughters, Taylor Ware, Derianna Ware, Ja’Nyla Allen, Markay Malone; step grandsons, Elijah, Demonte, Malachi Turner, Zyon and Zameer Allen, Markel Malone; niece, Nicole Goldthreat Everett (Taron), nephews, Michael Goldthreat, Jr., Jamarrion Goldthreat (Regina), great-nephew, Nautica Goldthreat; aunts, Fannie Cooper, Barbara Perkins, and Iona Hammonds; uncles, Willie Hammonds (Imogene), Jerry Hammonds.
She is also survived by a host of great-great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; lifelong friends, Michelle Burks, Konya Cole, Martha Edwards, Andrea Dorsey Sith and Mary Thornton.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, followed by a 1 p.m. funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.
