Here are upcoming road closures for construction:
Lower Mill Road Grade Crossing - Reopened
The Norfolk Southern Railroad grade crossing at Lower Mill Road is now open after repaving. No other closures are scheduled at this time.
King Street
King Street between Market Street and 11th Street will be closed on Wednesday, through Monday, Feb. 26, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily for a street cut. Detours will be posted.
2904 Westside Drive
Westside Drive in the 2900 block will see a single-lane condition utilizing automatic flaggers (traffic lights) to maintain two-way access during a water main installation. The work will take place from Wednesday, until Tuesday, March 5.
924 Federal Street
The 900 block of Federal Street will be closed Wednesday, through Monday, Feb. 26, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily for a street cut. Detours will be posted.
W 12th Street / Market Street
The following locations will be closed Thursday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. to allow for test borings to take place:
- The westbound lane of W 12th Street between Broad Street and Market Street
- The right, southbound lane of Market Street between 11th Street and Market Street
- The right, northbound lane of Broad Street between 11th Street and Market Street
The work was rescheduled until Thursday due to a supplier issue.
1020 Flynn Street
The 1000 block of Flynn Street will be closed Thursday through Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily for a sewer repair. Detours will be posted.
Norcross Road Southbound
Norcross Road southbound between Ashland Terrace and Hixson Pike will be closed Friday through Saturday, March 9, for utility construction. Traffic will detour via southbound Ashland Terrace to Hixson Pike.
