The Covenant College men's tennis welcomed Berry to campus for a big nonconference matchup. The Scots and Vikings played a competitive match, but it was the SAA member who came out on top this go around.

In the No. 1 ranked doubles match, Ben Onufrock and Austin Dreslinski suffered a close 6-8 defeat to Jake Goode and Noah Koch. Solomon Crouch and Gill Dunn put Covenant on the board with an 8-5 win over Jake Chapman and Aiden Benocialid in the No. 2 position. Berry took home another doubles win in the No. 3 slot as Camden Lashley and Caleb Domkowski were defeated 4-8 to Drayton Matus and Bohdan Higley.
In a back-and-forth No. 1 position match, Onufrock was defeated 6-7 (3), 7-6 (6), 2-6 by Koch.
Dreslinski secured a point for the Scots with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Chapman in the No. 2 slot.
Domkowski cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win in the No. 3 ranked match. Crouch fell in three sets to Goode 6-4, 2-6, 3-6 in the No. 4 position. Dunn struggled against Benocialid, dropping the match 2-6, 2-6 in the No. 5 slot. In the final match, Brock Boehling picked up a 6-4, 7-6 (4) win over Nico Koch.
Covenant begins its Spring Break trip to Texas on Thursday, Feb. 29 against Concordia.
