The Bears thumped cross-town rival Cleveland to advance in the Region 3-AAAA tournament behind Jackson Ary’s 20 points. Ramireon Taylor pumped in 11 as Dee Reid added 10.

Four Eagles accounted for a total of 85 points as Signal Mountain got by Lenoir City in a Region 3-AAA quarterfinal. Christopher Kennedy scorched the nets for 30 for the Eagles and teammate Andrew Matukewicz burnt off what was left was 27 markers. Josh Thompson added 17 and Blake Wolfard turned in an 11 point night. Mattias White led the Panthers with 22, while Drew Henry and Zach McNab had 17 each.
