Carol Lea Humphrey, 70 of Red Bank, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at her home with her husband and family by her side, after a long illness.

Carol was born on Dec. 11, 1953 in Ft Oglethorpe, Ga. She was a 1971 graduate of Ider High School, Ider, Al. In her senior year she was homecoming queen, FHA President, Miss FHA and received the FHA leadership award as well as receiving the Betty Crocker Award, and other recognitions.

After graduation Carol went to work for Gilman Paint Co where she met her husband Ron, the love of her life. They were married in 1974 and started their life together in Red Bank, Tn.

Not long after their marriage, Carol started her career in the land title business where she was loved and well respected by her customers and her coworkers alike. She worked in the business for over 30 years, and was vice president and Tennessee Agency sales manager for First American Title, Old Republic Title, and Fidelity National Title, where she ended her career in 2008.
