Bill Wayne King, Jr., 69, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Mr. King was a well-respected business owner and community leader, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Bill King loved the Lord and was a strong believer. He spent a lot of time studying God’s word and praying. Bill King founded King Industries in 1987 and continued to own and operate the company for 37 years until his passing. He loved flying and was an avid private pilot. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren more than anything else.

Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Deborah King; children, Benjamin King (Leigha), and Jennifer Deas (Danny); grandchildren, Alex King, Daniel Deas (Grace), Warner King, Solomon Deas, and Lillian Deas.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Lupton Drive Baptist Church, 859 Lupton Dr, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.

A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Daniel Deas II officiating.

Mr. King will be laid to rest in White Oak Estates Cemetery. Burial will be private.
