Eric Leamon
Eric Leamon, a beloved brother, uncle, nephew and friend, passed away on July 5, 2025.
His vibrant spirit and deep love for life, especially cherished moments with family and friends, left an enduring legacy in the hearts of all who knew him.
Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Thompson; his father, Marvin Leamon; and his beloved brother, Marty Leamon. He is survived by his siblings, Angela and Robert Roberts and Christy Powers; his nieces, Destiny Black, Cathy Allen, and Brittany Cook; and his nephew, Gabriel Roberts, all of whom he adored. Eric also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold his memory dear.
A lifelong plumber, Eric took immense pride in his work, approaching every job with skill and care that reflected his commitment to excellence. His hands, steady and sure, fixed more than pipes—they built trust and respect in his community. Yet, it was by the water where Eric truly found peace.
Eric was the soul of every gathering, his laughter as constant as the waves on his favorite fishing hole. We loved his stories of all his unforgettable adventures.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Eric on July 25, beginning at 2 p.m. at 1050 Acee Dr., in New Smyrna, Fl. All who loved him are invited to join us in sharing memories, perhaps of fishing trips or his infectious grin, as we celebrate a life so richly lived.
