Glass Farm Nursery Announces Grand Re-Opening Under New Ownership

  • Monday, March 11, 2024
The community is invited to come celebrate the Glass Farm Nursery's grand re-opening under the new ownership of Chamblee, Ga. entrepreneur and landscape architect Mario Cambardella. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at 8241 US-11 in Rising Fawn.

Officials said, "Glass Farm Nursery, established in 1970 on a quaint one-acre property, has long been a beacon of high-quality plant selection and unparalleled customer experience. Its commitment to fostering a deep connection between people and nature has flourished under the passionate leadership of previous owners, including Gary Kennedy, who has nurtured the nursery's growth for over two decades.
Now, with the torch passed to Mario Cambardella and his ServeScape team, Glass Farm is set to blend tradition with innovation, expanding its offerings through state-of-the-art e-commerce solutions and direct delivery services to the community.

"Mario Cambardella, a seasoned landscape architect and former Urban Agriculture Director for the city of Atlanta, brings a wealth of expertise and a visionary approach to ServeScape and Glass Farm Nursery. His achievements include leading landscape designs for Emmy-winning Netflix’s show 'Instant Dream Home,' HGTV’s 'Rock The Block,' and Fox’s 'Home Free' with Mike Holmes.

"The grand re-opening of Glass Farm Nursery promises to be a community celebration of nature's beauty and the nursery's commitment to environmental stewardship."

Attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments and food trucks from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and the opportunity to explore the nursery’s diverse selection of plants, from native wildflowers to exotic succulents.

"This event is not only a chance to witness the unveiling of Glass Farm's new era but also an invitation to partake in a legacy of care, conservation and community engagement," officials said.

Gary Kennedy reflects on the transition with optimism, saying, "I'm going to stick around a while and watch this grow."

Officials said, "As Glass Farm Nursery steps into its next chapter, it remains dedicated to offering top-quality plants and a remarkable customer experience, now enhanced by ServeScape's cutting-edge practices and technologies. Join us in commemorating this exciting new chapter at Glass Farm Nursery’s grand re-opening. Mark your calendars for a day of botanical discovery, family-friendly fun and a glimpse into the nursery's promising future under Mario Cambardella's stewardship."
