Michael Lynn McClure, 58, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

He was born in Chattanooga, on Nov. 22, 1965. He spent most of his life in the North Georgia area and was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church in Chickamauga, Ga. He worked as a laborer for brick masons most of his life. He also worked as a delivery driver and district manager for Chattanooga Times Free Press. In 2005, he started his own business, McClure’s Brick Cleaning and worked there until one week before his passing. The main thing about Michael is he was a hard worker. Most people he worked for would hire him back if he left them. He was outgoing and couldn’t go anywhere without knowing someone. He was very dedicated to taking care of his wife and kids. Most of his life he worked seven days a week at two different jobs. Michael was known as “Hank” to his co-workers and he loved his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Peggy Sue McClure; and son, Robbie McClure.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Loretta “Lorrie” McClure; children, Michael Adam McClure, Kayla McClure, Tenae North; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ashanti, Trent, Charles and Annsleigh; brother, Jesse McClure; sister, Cynthia Alexander; many cousins, aunt, Wanda Lynn, and lots of extended family members and friends.
