St. Andrew's-Sewanee lost a 5 set match to Tracy City. In what was a repeat of their first contest, SAS won the first two sets only to lose the next three to Tracy City. The scores were 26-24, 26-24, 22-25, 16-25 and 12-15.
SAS had complete performances from Lyra Spake, Maggie Mayo, Adeline Pond and Savannah Blosser. Aubrey Blosser had 14 aces and Maggie Lu Rudd and Leah Moody had 4 and 5 aces respectively. Leah Moody, Lyra Spake and Savannah Blosser had several sustained service runs.
Adeline Pond had 2 kills while Maggie Mayo had 4.
The Blosser sisters combined for 26 sets/passes in the losing effort.
The team will play at home vs Pelham on Wednesday and away to close the regular season at Monteagleon Thursday. Both games start at 5:30 p.m. CST.
The Mountain Lions are 5-4 on the season.
