John Michael Connor, Jr.
John Michael Connor, Jr. was born to John and Mildred Connor in Hazelton, Pa., on March 30, 1946. After sustaining a severe spinal cord injury in a fall on June 7, 2024. he passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

John grew up in Attleboro Falls, Ma., where he was active in high school sports, earning a football scholarship to Northeastern University in Boston. He completed his college education at Parsons College in Fairfield, Idaho and later earned an MBA at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.

As John started his career in sales, he moved several times before being transferred to Greensboro, NC, where he met his wife of 41 years, Rosalind. They were blessed with two wonderful children, John Michael Connor III and Sarah McLendon Connor.

John is survived by his wife and two children; his daughter-in-law, Megan; grandson, John Michael Connor IV; brother, Dennis Connor; Rosalind’s brothers, Joe, Coit and Robbie Liles; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and other medical staff in the Level 1 Trauma ICU at Erlanger Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 21, at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Lookout Mountain, with a reception to follow in the Church Parish Hall.
