Sara Ann Mobley
Sara Ann Mobley, 87, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, in a nursing home under hospice care in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was born in Monroe, where she lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service to her community.
Sara was a mother to her four children: Neal Mobley, Yvonne Evans, Gloria Brockway, and Sherri Winter. Her legacy continues through her 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She was also a cherished sister to Alma Jean Wells, who survives her.
Sara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Jack Mobley of Campton, Ga. Together, they built a family and shared many beautiful memories until his passing in 1999.
For 35 years, Sara dedicated her career to driving a school bus for Walton County Schools, ensuring the safe passage of countless children. Her commitment and friendly demeanor left a lasting impact on the community she served.
A memorial service for Sara will be held in September, 2024 in Monroe, Ga., where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and legacy.
Sara Ann Mobley will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
