Lee University’s School of Music will host Dr. Josh Holritz, violin, and Dr. Peter Cooper, piano, for a faculty and guest artist recital on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Squires Recital Hall, in the Humanities Center.

The performance will feature Ludwig van Beethoven's “Sonata for Piano and Violin No. 7 in C minor” and Richard Strauss's “Sonata for Violin and Piano.”

“I look forward to this collaboration with Dr. Peter Cooper, as we perform two wonderful sonatas by Beethoven and Strauss,” said Dr. Holritz.

Hailed as “particularly outstanding”, violinist and violist Dr. Holritz enjoys a varied career spanning the gamut of performing and teaching. He began his tenure with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra when he was appointed as the concertmaster in September 2022.
