Thrive will host Collaborate x Connect:  A Natural Treasures Stewardship Forum, on Friday, Sept. 13, from 2-5 p.m. 

Collaborate x Connect: A Natural Treasures Stewardship Forum, presented by Chattanooga Gas, invites stakeholders across sectors, state, and county lines, to share and understand the benefits of landscape conservation for local economies, thoughtful growth, and community health.

Collaborate x Connect features the following panel discussions and speakers: 

Keeping Pace: Balancing Natural Resource Protection with Development

Explore strategies for harmonizing environmental stewardship with economic and housing development.

Featuring: Noel Durant, associate vice president, Tennessee state director, Trust for Public Land; Andy Stone, president, Black Creek development group; Emily Heid, Southeast Tennessee Young Farmers Coalition; Dan Wright, Catoosa County manager; and moderated by Mark McKnight, president, Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center. 

Natural Networks: Connecting People, Partners, and Communities to the Outdoors

Discover exciting, collaborative projects throughout the tri-state that connect residents to accessible outdoor spaces.

Featuring: Amy Hartline with Keep Dalton-Whitfield Beautiful and Rooting for the Ridge initiative; Eric Pullen with Chickamauga Main Street and Chickamauga Battlefield Connector Trail; Caleb Timmerman with Southeastern Climbers Coalition and Citadel Boulders Preserve in Fort Payne, Al.; and moderated by Gail Loveland, director of Outdoor Chattanooga, City of Chattanooga Park & Outdoors Department.
