Chattanooga Boys Choir Hosts Open House, Spring Auditions Jan. 14

  • Friday, January 10, 2025
The Chattanooga Boys Choir, celebrating its 71st season in the Scenic City, is hosting an open house on Tuesday for interested singers looking to join in the spring 2025 semester.

This event takes place at the choir's rehearsal venue in Second Presbyterian Church, 700 Pine St., beginning at 5:45 p.m. Following a tour of the choir's offices, computer music theory lab and a rehearsal, interested singers can audition for the choir - nothing needs to be prepared in advance for the audition.

Choristers in grades three-12 joining this semester will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of educational, outreach and performance events including:
- (February) Simmons-O'Neal Memorial Concert and CBC Middle School Choral Festival (Concert & Cantabile Choirs);
- (March) Music in Our Schools Month in-school performances in area schools (Mozart & Schubert Choirs);
- (April) Hope Sings: Songs of Youth Mental Health (Concert & Cantabile Choirs) and Chattanooga Lookouts Home Opener (all choirs); and
- (May) Finale! Spring Concert (all choirs).
