Lee's Hampton Named Conference Player Of The Week For Second Time

For the second time this season, Lee University graduate guard Mallory Hampton was named Gulf South Conference player of the week as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Hampton had a really strong week in the two wins over Mississippi College and Delta State University. She scored 46 points while shooting 44% from the floor. Her 46 points led the league this week in scoring. She was 20-for-21 from the free throw line, had nine rebounds, six assists and seven steals. She has now scored 65 more points than anyone else in the GSC.
