Georgia State defeated UTC 4-3 in their last matchup on February 26, 2024.

South Carolina State began their season last weekend with a 4-0 loss to Wake Forest on Sunday. They finished the 2024 season with a 14-8 overall record and went 5-0 in conference play. Saturday's match will be the first meeting between the Mocs and the Bulldogs.

Chattanooga will gear up for another weekend of matches with their home opener scheduled for Friday (January 31) and another match on Sunday (February 2), both held in Chattanooga, Tenn.
