Most UTI infections involve the lower urinary tract and are caused by bacteria.
Women are more likely than men to develop a UTI. Common UTI symptoms include a burning sensation during urination; a frequent urge to urinate; and urine that is cloudy or smells bad.
Angie Ogle, APN-BC, will lead the clinic. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City and her master’s in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Certification Board for Urologic Nurses.
CHI Memorial Urology Associates’ UTI Clinic is located at 1300 Cleveland Avenue, Chattanooga. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Talk with your primary care provider to find out if a referral to the UTI clinic is appropriate.
