Jericho Brass Presents Songs Of Stage And Screen Concert Feb. 21

Chattanooga's own British style brass band, Jericho Brass Band, will presents the concert Songs of Stage and Screen on Friday, Feb. 21.

The free concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the North River Civic Center, 1009 Executive Dr. in Hixson.

The concert will be under the direction of the newly appointed conductor and music director for Jericho Brass Band, David Butler. Mr. Butler, a native Chattanoogan, has a wide range of awards and honors, including guest performance at the Carnegie Hall Symphonic Series. He is an accomplished and active music and band clinician, delivering guidance and direction at multiple and various national locations.

Included in the program on February are some of the songs from the best loved and universally known musical favorites from stage and screen such as Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera, The Avengers, March of the Resistance from Star Wars, and Grand March from The Great Escape. Also included will be sights and sounds from Jurassic Park and favorites from cartoon classics.
