U-Church at Lee University
Lee University will host “An Evening of Worship” in continuation of its U-Church series, led by LeeU Worship, on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.
The service is a corporate worship event put on by students and will be centered around communion, student-led worship and student testimonials.
“The theme for the evening is ‘Testimony.’ We chose this because we firmly believe in the transformative power of storytelling,” said Wes Lutes, campus pastor. “Our most profound personal experiences are those in which Jesus, through His grace, intersects our lives, guiding us toward the life He intends for us—a life of faith, hope, and love in Jesus.”
For the first time, U-Church will feature a choir of 50 students along with LeeU Worship.
There will be a post-event mixer in the DeVos Recreation Center following the U-Church service for everyone in attendance, as a time for continued fellowship.
U-Church is a free, non-ticketed event, open to students, alumni and the community. Seating is first come, first served.
