Salvation Army Of Chattanooga Hosts Annual Mardi Bra Event To Support Women In Need

  • Saturday, March 1, 2025

The Salvation Army of Chattanooga’s Women’s Auxiliary is hosting the Annual Mardi Bra event to support unhoused women and women in need. This special event provides essential undergarments to participants, along with an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun.

It will be Tuesday at noon at Salvation Army Social Services  at 800 McCallie Ave.

During the event, all attendees will receive new underwear, but additional community support is needed to help fulfill specific needs. Donations of panties in all sizes - especially smaller sizes - and bras, particularly in smaller sizes, are still needed.

The community is encouraged to contribute by bringing donations to the Salvation Army Social Services at 800 McCallie Ave. Financial contributions are also welcome online at www.csarmy.org.

For more information about the event, donation needs, or volunteer opportunities, please contact The Salvation Army of Chattanooga at 423-756-1023.
