Harold Donald “Don” Duggan, loving husband, father, papaw, brother and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on March 13, 2025, at the age of 87.

He was born on February 21, 1938, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Theodore Franklin and Edna Ensley Duggan. Don lived a full and vibrant life.

Don’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to successfully run the family business, Ted F. Duggan and Sons, until his retirement. He also generously served his community as a member of the Hamilton County Quarterly Court, a Justice of the Peace and the Hamilton County School Board.

His zest for life was evident through his club affiliations and activities he enjoyed. He cherished his time at the Chattanooga Yacht Club and was instrumental in founding the Chattanooga Waterski Club, where he forged lifelong bonds. Additionally, Don held an aviation instrument rating and had a short stint boat racing on the Tennessee River.
