Helen Ruth Hibdon, 97, passed away on March 13, 2025.

She was born in Chattanooga on March 21, 1927, to the Rev. Clifford and Maude Minnick. Helen was the remaining survivor of seven siblings. She was of the Baptist Faith, attending Lupton Dr. Baptist Church, and was an entrepreneur and an outgoing woman. Helen had so many businesses, remodeling homes and just loved to color, create, design and make jewelry. She loved to sing and was in a Gospel Quartet called Sweet Adelines.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hibdon, daughter, Diantha Smith, and brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Darryl and Linda Hibdon, and granddaughter, Daphne Smith.

Private burial will be held at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.
