Hicks, Billy Eugene, 88, of Ooltewah, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Billy worked with Brock and Blevins, Knoxville Sheetmetal for a few years and Textile Industrial Welding for 24 years. He also served two years in the National Guard.

The son of the late Charles and Ella (Jolley) Hicks, he was also preceded in death by his wife Wilma Lorraine Hicks, his siblings, Harold (Pete) Hicks, Gonnon Hicks, Kenneth Hicks and Herschell Hicks.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Parker, Auburn, Ga., and Tonja (Bill) Lowery of Harrison, Tn.; three grandchildren, Brittany Parker, Jade (Lynwood) Scott, and Saige Lowery; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Anniston and Stevie; god-daughter, Stephanie Sanders Trail; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Chapel.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-3 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Chapel.

The family would like to send many thanks to Amanda Blevins (NP), Mallory Eaves (NP), Heather Beakley (FNP), Alison Bailey (MD) and Cheryl Eberhard with Hospice of Chattanooga for all your support and care of Billy.
