The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team is set to conclude its regular season at home with a Senior Day tilt against Southern Conference foe Samford on Saturday.

PROMOTION – Senior Day. The program will recognize seniors Rozalie Dohnalova and Alice Hall on Saturday with a short pre-match recognition and a photo opportunity post-match.
Trading cards of the two seniors will also be available from the marketing table at the facility entrance.

Chattanooga fought hard but dropped two decisions to top SoCon opponents last week, falling 4-3 at ETSU Saturday and 6-1 against nationally ranked No. 39 Furman (in last week’s rankings) on Sunday morning. The No. 1 doubles pair of Rozalie Dohnalova and Alice Hall posted a big 7-6 (3) tiebreak win over Furman’s Sara Snyder and Ellie Schulson, who entered ranked No. 72 in last week’s ITA National Ranking for doubles. The Mocs enter the last weekend of the regular season seventh in the SoCon standings before their final match.
Samford enters the weekend 9-11 overall and 1-4 in SoCon play following its [score] win/loss to Mercer on Thursday. Last weekend, the Bulldogs dropped both of their matches, a 5-2 loss to No. 39 Furman on Saturday and a 4-3 decision to Wofford on Sunday. Samford is sixth in the SoCon standings, just ahead of Chattanooga. The Mocs fell to the Bulldogs 4-1 in their last meeting on April 18, 2024.

Chattanooga snapped a three-match skid when the Mocs earned a pair of 5-2 wins over Furman on Friday and Wofford on Saturday. They improved to 12-10 overall and 3-3 inside SoCon play, and Chattanooga is currently fourth in league standings behind Mercer (6-0), Samford (5-1), and ETSU (5-1).
UNCG enters the weekend following a 4-2 win over in-state opponent UNC Asheville on Tuesday. Last Sunday, the Spartans faced a 7-0 shutout against league-leading Mercer on Sunday. UNCG is 9-12 overall and has posted a 2-4 SoCon record. The Mocs earned a 7-0 sweep over the Spartans in their last meeting on April 13, 2024.
