After helping lead the Chattanooga Mocs to a championship last week in the National Invitation Tournament, junior guard Honor Huff announced his destination for his final season on Saturday after entering his name into the transfer portal 24 hours following UTC's title win over UC Irvine.

Huff's agent posted via social media that the Brooklyn, N.Y. native who played two seasons for the Mocs had opted to transfer to West Virginia. Other schools among Huff's final choices included Iowa, St. John's, Vanderbilt and Pitt.

Huff started his career at VMI after being recruited by current UTC head coach Dan Earl when during his seven seasons with the Keydets. When Earl accepted the Chattanooga position three years ago, Huff followed his coach to UTC despite having to sit out the first year due to the Southern Conference transfer rules.

Huff led the nation with 131 3-pointers this season while averaging 15.2 points per game. During his two years at UTC, Huff compiled a 16.2 point scoring average while converting 40% of from long range (240 of 602) and shooting 82% from the free throw line.

His career high of 31 points was accomplished against his old school in January at McKenzie Arena, an afternoon that saw Huff connect of 9-of-10 3-pointers.
