The Chattanooga women’s outdoor track and field team concluded its two days at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a career-high and season-bests in the relays.
Senior Lexi Foley outpaced her outdoor track and field career-high in the 800 meter and matched her all-time best time set in the 2024 indoor season at the Samford Bulldog Open. She won her heat and finished with a time of 2:17.99.
The Mocs 4x100 meter relay with Sarah Unterholzner, Ava McGue, Stella Henry and Ryleigh Simmons ran a season-best time of 48.80.
The 4x400 meter relay team with Unterholzner, Norah Haney, Taylor Crawford and McGue, also hit a season-high mark with a time of 4:10.45.
Henry finished 17th in the triple jump at 11.49 meters [37’ 8.5”] and Unterholzner was 34th in the 400 meter Hurdles at 1:04.96, just a bit shy of her career-high.

“The women will take time to rest and recover before the Southern Conference Championships that get going on May 12-13 in Birmingham, Ala.,” Mocs assistant coach Patrick Gildea said.
