Livingwell Medical Center will open its doors in Ringgold April 17, offering a fresh, compassionate approach to everyday healthcare—without the long wait times or out-of-town drives that often come with it, said officials.
Behind the venture is local nurse practitioner and healthcare professional Leslie Weaver, FNP-C, who helped build the award-winning Ready Clinic network across North Georgia before its acquisition. Now, she said she's bringing that same reputation for excellence back home—this time, with an expanded focus on personalized care, modern treatment options, and affordability for all.
“I wanted to create a space that felt more like your hometown doctor’s office used to feel— where people know your name, and you're not just a number on a clipboard,” Ms. Weaver said. “But I also wanted to bring in advanced care options you don’t typically find outside of larger cities.”
Located in Ringgold, Livingwell Medical Center offers a wide range of services for adults and teens, including: primary and preventative care, sick visits and minor injury treatment, weight management and medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, women's health exams and screenings, immunizations and lab service, and family planning and medication management.
Among the center’s early services is a new medical weight loss program featuring Tirzepatide injections, an option that’s shown promise in helping patients lose weight safely and effectively. For $350, patients receive an in-office consultation, lab work, and two months of medication—with the first dose administered on site.
“Patients are tired of bouncing between offices and pharmacies just to get started,” Ms. Weaver said. “We wanted to make it simple. You walk in, you’re seen by a provider, and you walk out with your treatment plan already underway.”
Appointments for the weight loss program are now being scheduled for the week of April 21.
Livingwell Medical Center accepts most major insurance plans but also offers affordable self-pay rates for patients without coverage or those managing high deductibles. New patient visits start at $95, with established patients seen for $85. Walk-in sports physicals are also available for $35— in time for spring athletics.
“This is about serving the people I’ve grown up with, gone to church with, and raised a family around,” Ms. Weaver said. “It’s not just business—it’s personal.”
