Roger Howard Ensley, Sr.

Roger Howard Ensley, Sr., 93, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

He was a lifelong resident of Ringgold, was of the Baptist faith, and proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Roger worked with General Electric for over 40 years before retiring in 1996. During his time there as a tool and dye maker, he worked in the same building although the company changed owners four times. In his free time, Roger loved spending time on the “farm”, whether it be yard work, gardening, or bee keeping.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Thacker Ensley; son, Roger Ensley Jr.; parents, William Roy Ensley Sr. and Hattie Carpenter Ensley.

Roger is survived by his children, Ronald Ensley and Sally Ensley; sister, Melba Jean Davidson; grandchildren, Nancy (Eddie) Riddell, Jennifer (Stephen) Robinette, Justin Ensley, as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.
