It’s with a very heavy heart that the family announces the passing of a great man, Billy Jack Skiles, Sr., went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2025, at 6:50 a.m., with all of his family by his side at Parkridge East Hospital.

Bill Skiles was born on April 4, 1936, in Stotesbury, West Virginia.

Bill was truly cherished and survived by his loving wife, Helen, of 67 years. Bill has five children who loved him very much, Billy (Peggie) Jack Skiles, Jr., Jimmy Skiles, Lisa Paty, Susan Davis, and Angel Skiles, all of Chattanooga, TN. Bill had 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren who loved their pawpaw very much. He loved his little dog, B.J. too.

Bill was a great, hardworking man and a wonderful, loving husband, father, and loved by all his family and friends. Bill worked at the City of Chattanooga for 28 years. He was a loyal Elk’s Lodge member #91 for 22 years. He enjoyed playing cards, and darts with members and friends. He owned the Pizza Villa in East Ridge for many years where his family participated with the business. Bill also worked with great friends at the yellow cab for many years.

Bills wishes are to not have a service, but have a private graveside with his wife, children and grandchildren.
