CHATT Foundation Launches Used Bike Donation Drive

  • Monday, April 7, 2025

CHATT foundation, in partnership with White Oak Bicycle CoOp, is collecting used adult and children's bikes and bike parts to benefit Chattanooga's homeless. Bikes received will be refurbished by White Oak Bicycle Co-Op and made available to CHATT foundation case managers and staff to distribute to Chattanooga's homeless needing transportation to jobs, job interviews, as well as medical and housing appointments.

"At CHATT foundation, we have the strategies in place to move homeless individuals and families into gainful employment and self-sufficiency." said CEO Baron King.

"Bicycles are a much-needed mode of transportation. As households perform their spring cleaning, we ask that they bring any and all used bikes and bike parts to our facility at 727 E. 11th St. or any of the 12 locations White Oak Bicycle CoOp has available."
