HCSO To Co-Host 2025 Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

  • Wednesday, May 14, 2025
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will co-host, in conjunction with the Chattanooga Police Department, the 2025 Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony this Friday at 10 a.m. to honor the deputies and police officers from the community and region who were killed in the line of duty.

This year’s ceremony will take place at the Hamilton County Law Enforcement Memorial at 600 Market St., and the key-note speaker will be Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Richard Clark of the FBI’s Chattanooga Office.

During this Friday’s ceremony, local law enforcement agencies, family members of fallen deputies and officers, elected officials, members of the community and business leaders will take time to honor the sacrifice of the community’s law enforcement personnel, particularly those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

According to the Officer Down Memorial Page, 165 law enforcement personnel were killed in the line of duty in 2024.

Due to the threat of rain, if necessary, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the first floor of the Hamilton County Courts Building at 600 Market St.
