The Chattanooga Lookouts ended their seven game losing streak as they finally broke out the bats with fifteen hits in a 7-4 victory over the Birmingham Barons on Saturday.
After dropping seven straight games, Sal Stewart and Cade Hunter had three hits apiece for Chattanooga including two homeruns by Hunter. Donovan Benoit picked up the victory on the mound with two and two thirds innings in relief. He moves to 2-0 on the season.
The Lookouts hope to gain another game on the first place Barons Sunday afternoon in the series finale before heading home for a twelve game homestand.
