A Riverview mansion has sold for $5.4 million.

The home at 1640 Hillcrest Road was sold to Ramsey Ridge Rp Holdings Llc from Dr. John W. and Georgia Ann McCravey.

Riverview historian Judy Rowland said the house was built by the Fowler furniture family just after World War II (1946).

Then it was owned by John Gaither, whom she believes was a cousin of the Fowlers.

It features 5,889 square feet with four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

The lot is almost four acres.
