Theft Call Results In Drug Discovery And Charges - And Other East Ridge Police Calls

25-006877 – 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street – Theft of Property / Narcotics Violation / Arrest
Police responded to a theft complaint at the motel. A hotel guest reported his phone was stolen by a male suspect staying in another room. Hotel security cameras confirmed the theft, and a search warrant was obtained for the room. Police found three individuals in the room and determined one of the occupants was the theft suspect. In addition, officers located methamphetamine, ecstasy, and drug paraphernalia. Based on the investigation, three occupants were arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Ecstasy, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. One was also charged with Theft of Property over $1,000. All three individuals were transported to Hamilton County Jail.

Day Shift June 27: A Team

25-006797 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft
Police responded to the hotel after an employee alleged an unknown male stole $160 from the register. The employee said the man asked if there were any jobs available. The clerk turned away to get him an application and the man took the money out of the till and left the hotel. Officers observed a surveillance video that corroborated the employee's depiction of the event.

25-006804 – 1000 BLK Lansdell Road - Backup EMS
Police responded with Fire and EMS to assist a man who was experiencing symptoms of heat exposure. The party was in a wheelchair attempting to make his way to the hospital before he became too fatigued to continue. EMS transported him for treatment.

25-006815 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft
Police were called to the shop after a woman received an alert that her lost debit card was being used to purchase tires. Upon arrival police spoke with the owner who said the driver/purchaser of the tires was on his way back to get the tires put on. Police spoke with the suspect, who had been identified as the man who bought the tires earlier in the day. The suspect was issued a misdemeanor citation for theft.

25-006803 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane– Check Wellbeing
A party called police to report her brother grabbed his juvenile daughter by the arm during an altercation. The suspect then left in his red Ford Fusion (unknown tag). Officers were unsuccessful in locating the vehicle to conduct a wellbeing check on the child.

25-006816- 601 Justice Way.- Warrant Service
While in Custody at the Hamilton County jail, a man was served with two Forfeiture Capias warrants. The original charges were for simple possession of Marijuana and possession of counterfeit controlled substance.

25-006813-4214 Ringgold Rd.- Warrant Service
Police served three Forfeiture Capias warrants. The original charges were Possession of Meth for resale, Possession of Crack Cocaine for resale and tampering with evidence. The subject was transported to the jail without incident.

25-006809 – 30 BLK Dunlap Ave – Traffic Stop/Evading
Police attempted to stop a Silver Infinity Q50. The vehicle fled driving recklessly and almost lost control turning onto West Main St. The attempted traffic stop was terminated, and the vehicle was entered into LPR.

Night Shift June 27: C Team

25-006819 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Severe Weather Response East Ridge Police responded to several weather-related incidents during a severe thunderstorm. Torrential rain resulted in flash flooding on several roadways. Lighting and high winds created several residential power
outages and loss of power for traffic control devices at two major intersections. Police and Fire units also responded to a fallen tree on John Ross Road which blocked a large portion of the roadway. Most services were restored within two hours of the storm.

25-006821 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Criminal Trespass
Police responded to a disorder and found that a man had a verbal altercation with the restaurant employees. Management requested for him to be trespassed from the property. Proximity Restriction: 25-000115.

25-006826 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder
Police responded to a disorder at the restaurant. The manager informed officers that three individuals had been arguing with several other customers. Police located the individuals and identified them. The three men calmed down and agreed to leave the restaurant.

25-006827 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Motor Vehicle Crash with Entrapment
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with entrapment in the 4100 block of Ringgold Road. Officers found that the trapped driver did not have significant injuries, and he was able to eventually free himself from the damaged vehicle. Fire and EMS responded to the crash scene and no serious injuries were reported.

25-006829 – 4200 BLK South Terrace – Mentally Disturbed
Police conducted a wellbeing check with a mental health consumer on South Terrace. Officers found he was overwhelmed by several conflicting emotions. The subject requested psychiatric help, and the responding officers explained the available options. The subject’s caregiver responded
and transported the individual to a local hospital for treatment.

25-006832 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency
Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for two arrest warrants through Hamilton County. The charges on the warrants were Contempt of Court and Failure to Pay Child Support. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

25-006841 – 1000 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Psychiatric Emergency
Mobile Crisis advised that man was expressing suicidal ideations at hisresidence. Police responded with a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Officer who met the subject and discussed his situation. Following the conversation, the subject went into protective custody and was transported to a local
hospital for a mental health evaluation.

25-006842 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency / Arrest
Following a traffic stop, Police conducted Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) testing and determined that the subject had been driving while under the influence of narcotics. Police also found that a passenger had an arrest warrant out of the Hamilton County Criminal Court for a probation violation. Both were taken into custody and transported to
Hamilton County Jail. At the jail, one was found to have a small bag of methamphetamine hidden on her person and was given an additional charge for illegal drug possession.

Day Shift June 28: A Team

25-006844 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment
Police responded on a reported harassment. An employee reported that her half-sister has been following her since she moved out of their house. Upon arrival police observed the subject parked in the handicap accessibly parking stall. The subject told police she dropped her brother off for work
approximately 30 minutes prior to police arrival but did not have a valid reason for remaining on property or parking in the handicap stall. At the request of management, she was issued a trespass from the property. Proximity Restriction 25-000116.

25-006851 – 5000 BLK Newport Drive - Back EMS
Police stood by while East Ridge Fire Department evaluated the air quality at the residence. A party called dispatch after he heard an audible alarm and began to feel dizzy. He thought the alarm could be a carbon monoxide detector but wasn't certain. The party denied requests for EMS to check him
out. ERFD cleared the house and was not able to determine the cause of the alarm but stated the air quality levels were within a normal range.

25-006848 – 4400 BLK Ringgold Rd. - Disorder
Police responded to the vape shop on reports of a named man placing spikes down in the parking lot. On arrival, officers spoke with the subject who advised he did not place spikes down and was not aware of what police were speaking of. Officers spoke with the employee who provided police with a video showing the man taking an item out of his pocket and tossing it on the
ground. The video was not clear enough to show if the item was a spiked object.

25-006850 - 4214 Ringgold Rd. - Harassment
A party wished to report that her ex-husband had been harassing her. She claimed that he threatened to come to her home and fight their son. She provided text messages from the man. The messages did not show a clear threat.

25-006866 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Rd. - Suspicious Person-
Police were contacted by management regarding a man who had a dog on a leash made of ethernet cable. The caller advised police that he had made comments of having choked the dog. Police located the man who stated he did not have any other way to walk his dog. Officers observed injuries on the animal and inquired as to how they were obtained. He stated the dog was in a
fight a few days ago. ERAS was contacted.

25-006853 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Drug Paraphernalia
An officer observed a female driver slumped over the wheel behind the hotel. During a probable cause search, she was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The evidence was seized for destruction.

25-006847 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder
Officers assisted the hospital staff with an unruly Certificate of Need patient.

25-006855 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Narcotics Violation –
A nurse reported finding an Oxycodone pill in a bed. A search of the room and belongings was conducted, and the pill was seized for destruction.

25-006859 – 6900 BLK Glen Errol Way – Check Wellbeing
A party requested officers check on children, further alleging abuse. Officers contacted a resident in the home who advised that the woman and her children no longer resided there. The reporting party was provided with an update.

25-006869 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Drug Overdose/Arrest
An unknown male called Dispatch and alleged his girlfriend was overdosing and needed CPR. After canvassing the area, an officer spotted a male and young female pull into a nearby gas station and conducted a consensual encounter. The female advised she was of the same age as the alleged victim, but both parties denied calling police. A consensual search of the vehicle located suspected Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. A party was taken into custody, transported for medical clearance, and then taken to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Night Shift June 28: C Team

25-006881 – 900 BLK S Seminole Road– Domestic Disorder
A man reported his ex-boyfriend was breaking things in their residence. Police responded to the disorder and spoke with both individuals. It was determined there was no physical altercation, and the disorder was verbal in nature. Officers also determined a few small items had been broken in the apartment, but everything was shared property, and no crime had been committed.

25-006882 – 2000 BLK Tombras Avenue – Disorder
Police observed a child walking on Tombras Avenue while arguing with the driver of a slow-moving dark sedan. Officers stopped the vehicle, and found the driver was the cousin of the juvenile. He stated there was a verbal argument with the juvenile and she walked away from their apartment. The
juvenile’ guardian responded to the location and took custody. No criminal activity or neglect was noted with the incident.

25-006883 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Property Damage
Police responded to a report of a street sign lying in the roadway. Officers determined that a traffic advisory sign had been knocked down and was damaged. The East Ridge Streets Department will be notified of the incident.

25-006884 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Arrest Warrant Hold
Deputies with the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office located a fugitive with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. A hold was placed, and he was transported to the Catoosa County Jail. The charge on the arrest warrant was Domestic Assault.

25-006902 – 3600 BLK Ida Belle Lane – Disorder
A man reported his ex-girlfriend was sitting on his porch, refusing to leave. On scene, officers located the party in a blue Toyota Prius and she agreed to move along.

25-006891-4200 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Property
Police spoke with a party who advised that she lost her ID at the gas station. A worker had located the ID and contacted her later that same day. She did not attempt to collect her ID until today 6/29/2025. Management advised they could not locate it.

25-006893-5400 BLK Oakdale Ave.-Disorder
Police were dispatched to this residence on reports of a male threating his roommate. The complainant advised the subject had threatened to kill him. Police were informed by a caregiver that the complainant is known to embellish situations to get his way. Officers advised the parties to separate and the caregiver would ensure nothing further occurred between the two.

Night Shift June 29: C Team

25-006911 – 1500 BLK Merril Street – Disorder
Police responded to a Disorder at this address and found several neighbors had a verbal argument over vehicle parking. Police found no signs of an assault and the individuals agreed to separate for the evening.

25-006912 – 900 BLK McBrien Road – Suspicious Activity
Police received multiple calls concerning a male lightly striking a street sign. Police checked the area and located him playing with a signpost. He stated he was playing his "steel guitar" because the world does not understand the importance of good music anymore. He agreed to leave the
area.

25-006916 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication / Arrest
Police responded to a suspicious Person complaint at the grocery store. Employees stated an intoxicated male came into the store, created a disorder, and left on a bicycle. An officer located the suspect at the and identified him. Police determined that he was extremely intoxicated and a
danger to himself. He was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

25-006921 – 1500 BLK Joshua Drive – Suspicious Activity

A concerned citizen reported seeing two individuals with flashlights roaming around his neighbor's yard. Police checked the area but discovered no disturbance on the ground or other indicators of suspicious activity. Officers then determined that three men were working on an RV at a nearby house, which may have been mistaken as suspicious behavior in the neighbor’s yard.

Day Shift June 30: B Team

25-006932- 1600 BLK Sunray Drive- Missing Juvenile
Police were called about a missing teen who had left home to go to Florida. Police contacted the juvenile who stated that she was unwilling to return. The guardians were advised that the juvenile would be entered as missing and were instructed on how to take out attachments.

25-006934-5300 BLK Haisten Ct-Disorder
Police were dispatched to the listed address for a disorder. A man reported that his girlfriend was trying to leave, and she refused to get out of his vehicle. He stated his car key was damaged during the disorder but declined prosecution. Both parties agreed to separate until they could resolve their
issues, report on file.

25-006939 – 1300 BLK St. Thomas Street – Mentally Health Consumer
A man reported being harassed for a third time by the maintenance worker for the AIM housing due to the party’s continued presence. Officers spoke with the party, who reported that the AIM Center is readying their properties for a state inspection, which requires his access to the clients’ residence to
ensure they are following the state standards. Officers attempted to convey this to the complainant, who then started making nonsensical threats to police about a civil action and the conversation was discontinued. Officers attempted to contact the party responsible for the property. She did not answer the phone and her voicemail was full.

25-006940 – 3600 BLK Fountain Ave– Deceptive Practice
Police responded to this address regarding a reported theft. The complainant reported she had given $1,231 in cash, placed inside an envelope, to an individual identified to deliver to her son in Sparta, Georgia for the purpose of posting bail. Upon the man’s return—having failed to bail her son out—she found the envelope contained only $831, resulting in a shortage of $400. The man denied taking any of the missing funds.

25-006944 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice
The manager on duty reported being the victim of a scam. She was contacted on the store’s business phone and advised to remove approximately $500.00 in cash from the store’s safe and send using a bitcoin machine from a local business to pay for a purchase made by her manager, who was not on scene. After sending the money, she contacted her manager and was advised that it
was not a valid transaction. The victim advised she also sent the subject(s) pictures of her identification for confirmation of the transaction.

25-006946- 1000 BLK Yale Street- Domestic Disorder/ Arrest
A man called, stating that an ex-girlfriend who was allegedly stalking him. Police found the ex-girlfriend in the 1000 block of Yale Street. She fled, running the stop sign located at Wentworth and Yale Street. An officer stopped the vehicle from going anywhere and identified the driver as the ex.
Police were able to smell alcohol on her breath and conducted Standardized Field Sobriety. Based on observations, she was taken into custody for DUI, driving on a suspended Driver’s License, Financial Responsibility, and falsifying or forging evidence of title.

Night Shift June 30: D Team

25-006952 – 3400 BLK Lisa Drive – Disorder

Police presence was requested by a married couple for disorder prevention following a verbal dispute. The parties agreed to separate for the rest of the evening to prevent further escalation.

25-006955 – 940 BLK Spring Creek Road - Found Narcotics
Police responded to the listed address due to medical staff finding suspected Xanax in a patient’s sock. Police retrieved the narcotics from medical staff and placed them into East Ridge property and evidence.

25-006950 – 6504 Ringgold Rd – Disorder
Two people were issued criminal trespass warnings following a disorder. Proximity Restriction 25-000117 and 25-000118

25-006956 – 300 BLK Frawley Rd– Assist EMS
A man was given a ride to the hospital at his request while apparently experiencing a mental health crisis. A CO2 gun found in his possession was placed into property for safekeeping.
