Taking a big bite out of the Cleveland Aqua Tigers for the second time this Chattanooga Area Swim League action Monday evening, the Red Bank Gators kept themselves in position to battle for the White Division crown.

Increasing the previous 42-point margin of victory in Cleveland on June 12, Red Bank improved to 6-1 on the season with a 417-358 tally in its home pool.

Although the Aqua Tigers (2-4) had more double-digit scorers (18-16), none posted a perfect score, while a trio of Gators — Benton Bilbrey, Adli Bowlin and Audrey Mayo — hit the magic 19-point tally.

Both teams return to the water on Monday, July 7, to wrap up the regular season.
Looking to avenge its lone loss of the campaign, the Gators will entertain the unbeaten Big Ridge Raiders (7-0) with the division title on the line. The Raiders thrashed Red Bank 467-318 in the season opener, back on June 2.

Meanwhile, CAT will journey to the Cumberland Currents (1-6). The Aqua Tigers left the Currents in their bubbles with a 447-274 outcome to start the summer season, on June 2 as well.

While both team's double-digit scorers provided similar totals (241-239) Monday evening, Red Bank's 16 top swimmers accounted for just 57.8% of their tally, while CAT's 18 provided 66.8%.

Along with their three "Perfect 19s," the Gators got 17 markers apiece from Noah Blake and Maggie Rust.

Addilyn Mayo and Luke Blake helped out with 16 each, while Lilah Blanchard and Victoria Kelly put up 15 each in the victory.

Jenna Thomas and Caleb Ross both accounted for 14 markers, with James Atchley helping out with a baker's dozen (13).

The victors got a dozen points apiece from Ben Meagher, Micah Hammond and Elle Morgan, plus 11 by RJ Popas.

Leading the Aqua Tiger effort, Kevin Curley garnered 18 points, with Sophie Hughes, Elias Eldred and Caroline Kate Elrod putting up 17 apiece.

Reed Blackmon, Santiago Eldred and Maddie Peterson added 16, 15 and 14 markers, respectively.

Teddy Elliott, Andrew Rutldege and Jay Eldred each collected 13 points, while Savannah Rose and Nathan Jossart had a dozen each.

Palmer Blackmon and Ben Condo helped out with 11 points apiece, with Christopher Frazier, Marian Christmann, Juniper Seyer and Theo Lackey notched 10 each.
