Paul Campbell
Paul Allen Campbell, Sr. departed life on earth peacefully May 28, 2025.
He graduated from Central High School and retired from the Chattanooga News Free Press after 47 years of service as the Pressroom Foreman. Paul was an avid golfer, a good husband and a loving father.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Laura Campbell and a sister, Barbara Jo Gurganus, all of Chattanooga.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Campbell; four children, Deborah Kemp, Paul Allen Campbell, Jr., Kari McMillan and Caleb Campbell; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Christine Culpepper; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Carl Blackburn officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
