Green Thumb Garden Club Meets Sept. 8

The Green Thumb Garden Club of Collegedale/Ooltewah will meet Monday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. (door opens at 6:45 p.m.) at Chestnut Hall (in The Commons), 4950 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale.  

The presenter is Master Gardener Anne-Hayes Pearce, whose topic is "Perennial Seeds."  Some of the things her presentation include anatomy of a seed, science of germination, setup of a seed starting station, etc.

First-time visitors are free.  Membership is $15 yearly per person or $25 per couple or family.  There will be refreshments and door prizes.
