Our children are addicted to their cell phones. I don’t blame the kids, I would be the same way, probably worse. The Bradley County Schools have a new cell phone policy: ban the cell, bell to bell. If you’re in class, no cell phone. Hamilton County Schools should follow the courageous lead of our sister city. Lookouts Fall To Smokies 8-1

The Chattanooga Lookouts fell to the Knoxville Smokies for the fourth consecutive game on Friday night, this time by a score of 8-1. In the top of the second the Smokies strung together four singles off of Lookouts starter Todd Willeman for a 3-0 lead. Jay Allen II answered for the Lookouts in the bottom of the inning with a solo blast.
