Artists Needed For Veterans Bridge Printed Mural Project

Public Art Chattanooga invites artists or artist teams to submit qualifications for a new printed mural design to be installed along the Veterans Bridge pedestrian detour, created during the temporary closure of the Walnut Street Bridge. The mural will be printed on vinyl and installed on a retaining wall near Riverside Drive/Riverfront Parkway to enhance the pedestrian and cyclist experience along this key route. The deadline to apply is Monday, July 28. Click here for more information. more

Wow, Justin Robertson is bragging on teachers and says we should celebrate for such a good job by Hamilton County Schools. I looked at the report, four categories with the highest proficiency being at 47.7 percent in Social Studies, while students were least proficient in math at 37.7 percent.
