CFD Firefighters Rescue Hotel Guests From Smoke-Filled Elevator

Chattanooga firefighters quickly mitigated a dangerous situation at a Southside hotel Wednesday night, including rescuing some guests trapped in a smoke-filled elevator. At 7:41 p.m., Blue Shift companies responded to 100 West 21st Street on a commercial fire. There was a fire in the basement of the hotel with people trapped inside the elevator above the fire. The Lookouts pounded out six doubles and two homeruns and then lock down closer Trevor Kuncl closed the door on the Columbus Clingstones on Tuesday night to give Chattanooga the 6-5 victory. The Lookouts were just 3-11 with runners in scoring position and left ten men on base but Ethan O'Donnell and Ruben Ibarra homered and Cam Collier added two doubles.
