Silverdale softball coach Jackie Freeland knows that the right time to peak for a high school team is late in the season at tournament time. The Lady Seahawks have done exactly that for the past two springs and have two Division II-Class A state titles to show for it. The Chattanooga Mocs added two to NFL squad lists following the NFL Draft in Green Bay. Seniors Reuben Lowery III and Marlon Taylor are the latest to begin their professional journeys. Lowery, a defensive back from Powder Springs, Ga., signed as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens.
