Hamilton County Parks and Recreation will offer a series of workshops using techniques by Bob Ross, as well as traditional oil painting at Soddy-Daisy High School on Thursday evenings beginning on February 21.
Officials said, "Learn to paint in one day! Students will learn "wet on wet" painting techniques on a 16 x 20 canvas, which will become a beautiful oil painting suitable for framing. The certified instructor is Bea Cox, a local favorite."
The cost is $50 per workshop and materials are included. Students must be 15 or older.

SESSION #6: Saturday, March 30-Traditional "plein-aire" landscape from life
