Thomas Wilson Trevor Jr. died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, in a local hospital.

Mr. Trevor was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church and had formerly been a member of Trinity Woodmore United Methodist Church. He retired in 1982 as vice president of First Federal Savings and Loan after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as first lieutenant in the European Theater during World War II. He was past president of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, past president of Citizens Taxpayers Association and the Chattanooga Home Builders Association. He was a longtime volunteer for the Cherokee Council of Boy Scouts of America.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Hill Trevor; one son, Thomas W. Trevor III, Chattanooga; one daughter, Susan Trevor Clemons, Hartsville, S.C.; three grandchildren, Jamie S. Clemons, Murfreesboro, Tenn., Lara R. Clemons, Hartsville, S.C. and Mary Helen Robert, Murfreesboro; one sister, Mary McKay Hall, San Antonio, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. on Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Brainerd United Methodist Church.
