Ella Dean Fitzgerald, 75, of Soddy-Daisy, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, in a local hospital.
She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Windom Fitzgerald; sister, Ruth Brandon; and her parents, Clarence and Linnie Reed.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Jerry Allen Holland and wife, Sarah, Rickey McWilliams, Barbara Gail Lewis and husband, Robert Wayne, Mary Ella Meeks and husband, Howard Jr., Linda Kaye Dodson and husband, Kyle; two sisters, Dora Heiss, Ruby Lee McWilliams; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Eggert and the Rev. Steve Moore officiating.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael Dale Meeks, David Ray Lewis, Jerry Allen Holland Jr., Joseph Fate Dodson, Robert Johnson, Walter Johnson, James Johnson and Jeremiah Hughes.
Visitation is after 11 a.m. Sunday.
