Marcella Rose Messick, age 85, of Hixson, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005.
She was a native of Camden, New Jersey, born to the late Joseph and Mary Kalwaitis. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank R. Perchalski, Sr.; second husband, Vander Messick; and brothers, Joseph and Charles Kalwaitis.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank R. and Barbara Perchalski, Jr. of Hixson; Robert L. and Tressa Perchalski of Gaithersburg, MD; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Shage; niece, Paula Milano of Barnegat, NJ; and brother, Carl Kalwaitis of New Jersey.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. with Father Bob Hofstetter officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton, NJ at a later date.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 until the hour of service.
