Doris Hogue, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in Stratford House Nursing Home.

A native of Cartersville, Ga., she moved to Chattanooga at a young age and was the daughter of the late Albert and Adie Goss. She last attended Standifer Gap Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Hogue; and a son, Howard R. Dillard.

She is survived by her daughter and husband, Charlotte Ann and William Culpepper; son and his wife, Larry Joe and Patricia Dillard all of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with her nephew, the Rev. Stephen Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
