Chattanooga's Skyline Has A Thrilling New Landmark

The construction continues at Lake Winnepesaukah as the OH-ZONE! drop
ride now towers over everything at the South's favorite family amusement
park.

Two cranes set the massive tower into place next to the world famous
Cannon Ball roller coaster, but the construction is not yet complete.

"We're using a 120-foot tall manlift to finish the construction and
adjustments at the top of the tower," said Talley Green of Lake
Winnepesaukah.

The new attraction will feature a spectacular light show along its frame and crowning its top.

"You could feel the excitement and
anticipation here over the past couple of days as we look forward to
completing this thrill ride and letting guests enjoy their first journeys into the OH-ZONE!"

A journey into the OH-ZONE! will feature a 14-story freefall at 4.6Gs, with guests dropping at speeds up to 50 miles-per-hour. Manufactured by A.R.M. Inc., Larson International, Inc. and Velocity Magnetics, OH-ZONE! is the first permanent installation in the world of this brand of drop tower to feature a round ride carriage, allowing guests to sit closer to friends and family.

"Lake Winnepesaukah is a family park," said Green. "Even with a
ride as thrilling as this, everyone in the family who is at least 42-inches tall can enjoy it together as they experience the exhilarating drop."

With OH-ZONE! now forever in the Chattanooga skyline, towering over Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, anticipation continues to build for the park's April 1, 2006 opening day.
