Tallmadge, Ohio – Horton Manufacturing Co., the world’s oldest and largest crossbow manufacturer, recently announced Irlene Mandrell has joined its Pro Staff as a Spokesperson for its lineup of crossbows and accessories.
Irlene, the youngest sister and percussionist of the famed country trio, The Mandrell Sisters, is an avid hunter and shooter. Her hunts have taken her throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America and Africa resulting in several record trophies. Irlene is also an accomplished competitive shooter with numerous wins to her credit.
Irlene has appeared on several hunting shows including an episode of Tennessee Wildside entitled Irlene Mandrell Straight Shooter, and is schedule to co-host an episode of Keith Warren’s Outdoor Adventures this fall. She is a member and strong supporter of Safari Club International, BuckMasters American Deer Foundation, Quail Unlimited, National Rifle Association and The National Wild Turkey Federation.
In support of Wish Upon a Star and The Boy Scouts of America, Irlene will host her ninth annual Celebrity Shoot in Branson Missouri over Memorial Day Weekend (www.irlenemandrellshoot.com). She also actively supports Easter Seals, Special Olympics, and the American Heart Association.
